Quienes ingresan a esta prisión están destinados a nunca salir de aquí. Esta es la mega prisión más grande y estricta del mundo. Tiene una capacidad para 40.000 personas.
Construida en 2022, esta enorme prisión está compuesta por ocho módulos separados repartidos en 410 acres de terreno. Cada par de módulos está encerrado por dos paredes separadas de 3 metros de alto con alambre de púas. Toda la instalación está rodeada por un imponente muro de 9 metros de alto con una cerca eléctrica de 3 metros de alto que transporta 15.000 voltios. Diecinueve torres de vigilancia garantizan que nada pase desapercibido. Todo el diseño no solo evita la fuga, sino que borra la idea misma de la misma.
Además, realicé una entrevista exclusiva con uno de los reclusos, que tiene 41 años. En esta entrevista nos revela cómo es realmente la vida dentro de CECOT.
