SCHLAG GEGEN DEN IRAN: USA melden Zerstörung von Drohnenträger „Shahid Mahdavi“Die US-Marine meldet die Zerstörung eines iranischen Drohnenträgers und veröffentlicht Videoaufnahmen des Angriffs. Dabei soll es sich um die „Shahid Mahdavi“ handeln – ein umgebautes Containerschiff, das Iran als schwimmende Drohnenbasis nutzt. Das 240 Meter lange Schiff wurde 2024 erstmals auf Satellitenbildern entdeckt und gilt als Teil von Teherans Strategie gegen US-Flugzeugträger.
Laut US-Angaben wurden im Krieg bereits mehr als 30 iranische Schiffe versenkt, während die Zahl iranischer Raketenangriffe um rund 90 Prozent gesunken sein soll. Unabhängige Bestätigungen für die neuen Bilder gibt es bislang nicht.
