Dua pekerja tambang ditemukan tewas di Jalan Poros Kampung Bingki dengan luka kekerasan pada Minggu malam.
Upaya para penambang untuk menyelamatkan diri ke Dekai terhambat cuaca buruk.
Keesokan harinya, kelompok bersenjata kembali menyerang Camp Kali Kulum menggunakan panah dan senjata api hingga menewaskan tiga orang.
Informasi awal menyatakan total korban lima orang, namun identitas dan jumlah pasti masih diverifikasi.
Kabar ini dikonfirmasi oleh Kepala Operasi Damai Cartenz Brigjen Pol Faizal Ramadhani di Jayapura, Rabu (24/9).
Evakuasi tertunda karena hujan deras dan kontak tembak yang menyulitkan tim mencapai lokasi.
Wakil Kepala Operasi Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga menegaskan patroli diperketat guna mencegah serangan lanjutan dan menjaga ketenangan masyarakat.
