Mega-Silvester in München: Im Einsatz mit Feuerwehr und Rettungsdienst | Abendschau Reportage | BR24

Für Einsatzkräfte ist Silvester eine Mega-Challenge. Wird es wieder eine der härtesten Nächte des Jahres? Während die Feuerwehrwache in Milbertshofen gleich am frühen Abend zu einem Containerbrand gerufen wird, macht sich die Polizei an der Wittelsbacher Brücke für Mitternacht bereit. Hier hat es ein Jahr zuvor Krawalle gegeben. Unterdessen hofft Veranstalter Alexander Wolfrum, dass das Experiment Silvestermeile am Siegestor mit tausenden Besuchern funktioniert - mit einer Licht- und Lasershow. Feuerwerkskörper sind verboten. Dort hat auch der 19jährige Sanitäter Rohan Wanka an diesem Abend Dienst. Er ist mit Notfallrucksack auf dem Gelände unterwegs, über 10 Stunden, ehrenamtlich. Für Feuerwehrler Steffen Paul und Thomas Wolf sind es in dieser Nacht 11 Einsätze.
