Pembe Özkan lebt in der Türkei, hat aber fast ihr ganzes bisheriges Leben in Deutschland verbracht, ihr Coming-Out gehabt, eine Frau geheiratet.Nach der Trennung wollte Pembe zurück in ihr Heimatland. Sie lebt jetzt in İzmir, was als die liberalste Stadt in der Türkei gilt. İzmir ist deshalb ein Magnet für Lesben, Schwule, Trans und alle, die ein bisschen anders leben wollen, als es der türkische Präsident Erdogan für sein Volk vorsieht. Wir begleiten eine lesbische Frau, die dennoch aus Deutschland in die Türkei gezogen ist und sich nun den Repressionen stellen muss. Eine Reportage von Almut Röhrl.
