Penembakan dilakukan menggunakan rudal permukaan ke udara di Lebanon selatan, Sabtu (1/6/2024).
Video yang beredar secara online menunjukkan sebuah drone terbakar dan berputar ke arah bumi.
Hizbullah telah mengonfirmasi drone yang terbakar itu berjenis Hermes 900 milik Israel.
Dalam pernyataan resminya, militan Lebanon menyebut penembakan itu merupakan bentuk solidaritas terhadap Palestina.
Drone Hermes Israel dilaporkan jatuh di kota Deir Kifa, Lebanon selatan.
Dilansir Al Mayadeen, Hermes 900 juga dikenal sebagai "Kochav", dirancang dan diproduksi oleh perusahaan teknologi keamanan Israel Elbit Systems.
Drone ini terutama digunakan untuk misi intelijen, pengawasan, akuisisi target, hingga pengintaian udara.
Hermes 900 mulai beroperasi dengan Angkatan Udara Israel pada tahun 2012 dan digunakan selama perang pendudukan Israel di Jalur Gaza pada tahun 2014.
