Il nuovo tram della Bergamo-Villa d'Almè Škoda ForCity Classic, partito dagli stabilimenti Škoda Group di Pilsen, in Repubblica Ceca, è giunto a destinazione completando il viaggio di oltre 800 chilometri a bordo di una bisarca lunga 43 metri. Sarà presentato ufficialmente martedì 24 marzo 2026 nel corso di un evento. I nuovi tram Skoda sono lunghi 33 metri, con una capacità massima di 281 passeggeri. Su ogni mezzo sono previsti 66 posti a sedere, di cui 64 fissi e 2 pieghevoli (ribaltabili) in corrispondenza degli spazi riservati alle sedie a rotelle. I nuovi mezzi sono inoltre dotati di tecnologie di ultima generazione, tra cui un avanzato sistema anticollisione in grado di monitorare costantemente lo spazio antistante il tram e contribuire alla prevenzione degli incidenti.
