Una valanga si è distaccata sul ghiacciaio Presena, in Trentino, a una quota di circa 2.700 metri. La slavina di grandi dimensioni avrebbe travolto almeno due persone di cui una estratta dalla neve e trasferita d'urgenza in elicottero all'ospedale Santa Chiara di Trento dove anche martedì era ricoverata in prognosi riservata. Sul posto sono intervenute le squadre del Soccorso alpino e i vigili del fuoco. L'alpinista soccorso è un giovane polacco che stava sciando in un canale molto esposto a ridosso di una pista: il giovane è rimasto semisepolto dal distacco nevoso. Due operatori del soccorso alpino sono stati allertati dagli operatori delle truppe alpine dell’Esercito, che avevano assistito in diretta alla slavina mentre erano in servizio lungo la sottostante pista Paradiso. I due soccorritori si sono portati sul punto della slavina dove il fratello del giovane travolto dalla neve, che stava sciando insieme a lui, aveva già cominciato a disseppellirlo.
