PLO | Ông Trump hết bị hạn chế sử dụng Facebook, Instagram, thoải mái tranh cử tổng thốngMeta đã thông báo dỡ bỏ các hạn chế đối với tài khoản Facebook và Instagram của cựu Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump trước cuộc hội nghị quốc gia của Đảng Cộng hòa. Quyết định này nhằm đảm bảo ông Trump có thể tham gia vào cuộc vận động tranh cử tổng thống Mỹ một cách công bằng.
Theo Meta, việc này giúp người dân Mỹ được lắng nghe lập trường chính trị của các ứng viên. Tài khoản của ông Trump đã bị hạn chế từ sau vụ bạo loạn tại Điện Capitol năm 2021 và được khôi phục vào đầu năm 2023. Mặc dù được phục hồi, Meta vẫn cam kết sẽ xử lý nghiêm các vi phạm nếu ông Trump tái phạm.
Ông Trump chưa có bình luận về quyết định này, trong khi đó, ông đã ra mắt mạng xã hội Truth Social sau khi bị đình chỉ tài khoản trên các nền tảng lớn như Facebook, Instagram và Twitter vào năm 2022.
