Pemerintah menyatakan mendukung langkah DPR yang mengusulkan pembahasan regulasi ini.
Menteri Hukum Supratman Andi Agtas mengatakan, pemerintah sudah menyiapkan naskah akademik serta draf awal RUU tersebut.
Ia juga menyampaikan apresiasi kepada DPR yang menjadikan regulasi ini sebagai usul inisiatif.
“RUU Perampasan Aset memang sudah kami persiapkan. Kami berterima kasih kepada DPR yang ikut mendorong hal ini,” kata Supratman dalam rapat kerja evaluasi Prolegnas, Selasa (9/9/2025).
Ketua Badan Legislasi DPR, Bob Hasan, menargetkan pembahasan RUU Perampasan Aset dapat selesai pada akhir 2025.
Mahfud MD, ikut menanggapi wacana tersebut.
Menurutnya, tidak ada alasan untuk menolak regulasi ini.
Ia menilai, pihak yang menolak hanyalah mereka yang takut asetnya dirampas karena terkait korupsi.
Mahfud menyebut banyak kritik muncul karena pihak tertentu belum memahami isi rancangan aturan tersebut.
Ia menegaskan regulasi ini akan membantu negara mengembalikan kerugian akibat tindak pidana.

Zulkifli bahagia lantaran pendanaan untuk koperasi desa/kelurahan merah putih (KDKMP) atau koperasi desa merah putih akhirnya terjawab.
Kabar ini diungkapkan Zulhas dilansir melalui akun TikToknya pada Senin (15/9/2025).
Setelah Purbaya dilantik menjadi Menkeu, Zulhas selaku ketua satgas nasional KDKMP langsung mengajaknya bersinergi.
Hasilnya, keresahan soal pendanaan koperasi desa akhirnya terjawab.
Setelah Menkeu mengucurkan dana Rp 200 triliun ke bank himbara, modal untuk koperasi desa menurut Zulhas sudah ada.
Nantinya, pinjaman untuk KDKMP dapat diajukan melalui bank himbara dengan ketentuan dan syarat yang berlaku.
