Mahasiswa UNG Tewas Usai Diksar Mapala: Keluarga Sebut Ada Luka Lebam, Polisi Periksa 10 Orang
MUNA, KOMPAS.TV - Kematian mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Gorontalo usai mengikuti diksar Mapala Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, masih menjadi tanda tanya.Diduga korban tewas akibat kekerasan karena ditemukan sejumlah luka lebam di tubuh korban.
Isak tangis keluarga tak terbendung saat jenazah Muhamad Jaksen tiba di rumah duka di Muna, Sulawesi Tenggara.
Jaksen dinyatakan meninggal dunia usai mengikuti pendidikan dasar Mapala Fakultas Ilmu Sosial di Universitas Negeri Gorontalo pada 22 September lalu.
Sebelum meninggal, Jaksen sempat dirawat di rumah sakit karena merasakan sesak napas.
Namun keluarga dan rekan korban curiga karena ditemukan sejumlah luka lebam di tubuh korban.
Polisi telah memeriksa 10 orang yang terlibat dalam kegiatan diksar Mapala ini di antaranya satu orang koordinator lapangan, tiga orang senior serta enam orang panitia lainnya.
Polisi juga akan memeriksa pihak kampus dan peserta lain yang ikut dalam diksar bersama korban.
Pembina Paguyuban Kesatuan Mahasiswa Muna, La Awal menyebut telah meminta keterangan dari salah satu panitia diksar.
Dari hasil pemeriksaan, ditemukan ada tindak kekerasan fisik saat pelaksanaan diksar kepada korban dan peserta lain.
Universitas Negeri Gorontalo menyebut menyerahkan sepenuhnya pemeriksaan kasus ini kepada kepolisian.
Pihak kampus juga akan menyiapkan sanksi tegas kepada panitia diksar Mapala Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, jika terbukti melakukan kekerasan yang menyebabkan satu orang mahasiswa meninggal dunia.
