Kahani Kusri Ki : तमिलनाडु में रिकॉर्ड मतदान, मुकाबला हुआ और दिलचस्प | Tamil Nadu Election 2026तमिलनाडु में भी रिकॉर्डतोड़ वोटिंग हुई, 38 जिलों की 234 सीटों पर रिकॉर्ड 85.01 परसेंट वोट डाले गए, करुर जिले में सबसे ज्यादा 92.52 और कन्याकुमारी में सबसे कम 75.58 परसेंट वोटिंग हुई, सलेम में 90.43, इरोड में 90, नमक्कल में 89.71 परसेंट और चेन्नई में 83.42 परसेंट पोलिंग हुई, पिछली विधानसभा चुनाव में तमिलनाडु में 77.02 परसेंट वोटिंग हुई थी, लेकिन इस बार वोटर्स ने सारे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए, पिछली चुनाव की तुलना में 8 परसेंट ज्यादा वोटिंग हुई !
इसके पीछे स्पेशल इंटेसिव रिवीजन को सबसे बड़ा फैक्टर माना जा रहा है दूसरी बड़ी वजह लोगों का उत्साह है बड़े बड़े फिल्म स्टार भी वोट डालने आए तमिलनाडु में सबसे ज्यादा वोटिंग का रिकॉर्ड 2011 के इलैक्शन में बना था उस वक्त 78.01% वोटिंग हुई थी लेकिन इस बार ये रिकॉर्ड टूट गया लेकिन इसका असर क्या होगा , ये कहना मुश्किल है क्योंकि अब तक तो तमिलनाडु में मुकाबला AIADMK और DMK के बीच होता था !
Tamil Nadu also witnessed record-breaking voter turnout; across the 234 seats spanning 38 districts, a record 85.01 percent of votes were cast. Karur district recorded the highest turnout at 92.52 percent, while Kanyakumari saw the lowest at 75.58 percent. Other districts recorded polling figures of 90.43 percent in Salem, 90 percent in Erode, 89.71 percent in Namakkal, and 83.42 percent in Chennai. In the previous assembly elections, Tamil Nadu had recorded a voter turnout of 77.02 percent; however, this time, voters shattered all previous records.
Compared to the last election, voter turnout increased by 8 percent. The "Special Intensive Revision" process is considered to be the primary factor behind this surge, while the enthusiasm of the public is cited as the second major reason—even prominent film stars turned out to cast their votes. The previous record for the highest voter turnout in Tamil Nadu was set during the 2011 elections, when 78.01 percent of votes were cast; however, that record has now been broken. Yet, it remains difficult to predict what the ultimate impact of this high turnout will be, given that, historically, the electoral contest in Tamil Nadu has primarily been a direct battle between the AIADMK and the DMK.
