The death of Zubeen Garg has been ruled an accidental drowning by a Singapore court, with no evidence of foul play.Findings from the coroner’s inquiry showed that Garg had consumed alcohol before boarding a yacht and appeared visibly unsteady, according to witness testimonies.
Witnesses also said he needed assistance while moving and appeared unstable even before entering the water.
The court concluded that the singer likely became exhausted during a swim and later lost consciousness, leading to drowning.
The ruling brings clarity to the high-profile case that had earlier triggered speculation and investigations in India.
