Am Freitagabend (18 Uhr) trifft die DFB-Auswahl in Stuttgart auf das Team von Bundestrainer Nagelsmann. ARD-Sportjournalistin Wagner ordnet die Lehren des deutschen Achtelfinalspiels und den nächsten Gegner ein.Der letzte deutsche Pflichtspiel-Sieg gegen Spanien liegt übrigens schon 36 Jahre zurück. Bei der Heim-EM 1988 gelang der Auswahl des Deutschen Fußball-Bundes im letzten Gruppenspiel gegen Spanien ein 2:0 und damit der Halbfinal-Einzug. Doppeltorschütze war damals der heutige DFB-Sportdirektor Völler.
