The Inescapable Karma of Narcissistic Behavior.
The Inescapable Karma of Narcissistic Behavior.Have you ever wondered how someone can hurt people, lie, manipulate, and still seem to get away with it? You may ask, “Do they ever face the consequences of what they do?” Today, we’re looking at what can happen when narcissistic behavior catches up with a person. I’m using the word karma here in a practical sense: the consequences that can come from repeated choices and behavior. So, let’s look at ten ways those patterns can eventually catch up with them.
Number 1: People eventually stop trusting them
Trust is one of the first things damaged by repeated narcissistic behavior. Imagine someone lies often, changes their story, makes promises they don’t keep, and blames other people whenever something goes wrong. At first, people may believe them. They may give them another chance. But after enough repetition, something changes. People become more careful around them. They stop taking their words at face value. They may still smile, talk, and stay polite, but the trust is gone. And once trust is gone, relationships become much harder to maintain.
Number 2: The same relationship pattern keeps repeating
This is one of the clearest forms of consequence. A person may enter a new relationship and believe everything is going to be different this time. At first, things may even look great. But if the same jealousy, control, blame, criticism, and lack of accountability are still there, the same problems usually return. The face may be different, the location may be different, but the pattern is the same. It’s like changing the stage while keeping the same script. Sooner or later, the story starts looking familiar again.
