Hal ini lantaran Hasto menyebut kejahatan korupsi bukan kejahatan kemanusiaan.
Hal ini disampaikan oleh kuasa hukum Hasto, Annisa Ismail dalam sidang gugatan uji materi perkara tentang UU Tipikor di MK pada Rabu (1/10/2025).
Dalam sidang, Annisa menyampaikan catatan pribadi Hasto terkait pernyataan bahwa kasus korupsi bukan kejahatan kemanusiaan pada sidang perbaikan permohonan yang berlangsung 26 Agustus 2025.
Karena ucapannya itu, banyak reaksi warganet yang mengancam Hasto akan menyebarluaskan alamat rumah kader PDIP itu.
"Komentar-komentar tersebut berupa ancaman kepada kami dan juga klien kami, Pak Hasto," kata kuasa hukum Hasto, Annisa Ismail.
Hasto mengatakan bahwa dirinya takut rumahnya akan dijarah, digeruduk bahkan 'di-Sahroni-kan'.
Tim kuasa hukum Hasto, Annisa merasa catatan ini perlu disampaikan agar tidak muncul lagi disinformasi terkait pernyataan tersebut.
Ia mengaku pernyataan Hasto terkait korupsi bukan kejahatan kemanusiaan berdasarkan hasil riset akademik yang menyebut korupsi adalah fenomena global di berbagai negara, bukan hanya untuk negara berkembang.
Dalam Statuta tersebut secara tegas menyebut ada empat kategori kejahatan kemanusiaan, yakni genosida, kejahatan hak asasi manusia, kejahatan perang, dan kejahatan agresi.
Sehingga mereka menilai korupsi bukan kejahatan kemanusiaan. (Tribun-Video.com)
