JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Presiden Joko Widodo meminta anggota Polri untuk memegang teguh Janji Tribrata agar tetap solid secara internal dan sinergis secara eksternal.Hal ini diungkap Jokowi saat berpidato di Peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-78 Bhayangkara di kawasan Silang Monas, Jakarta.
Jokowi menambahkan, Polri harus adaptif serta mampu mendorong persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa.
Warga juga berharap institusi Polri semakin bisa dipercaya oleh masyarakat, solid dan merangkul semuanya tanpa pandang bulu.
Sementara itu, Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo menyebut Polri membuka ruang kritik dan saran serta evaluasi demi perbaikan dan peningkatan kinerja Polri.
Kapolri juga berkomitmen untuk mengabdi pada bangsa dan negara.
