Série documentaire disponible en rediffusion jusqu'au 18/11/2025Au coeur d’une des dernières régions sauvages d’Europe, une tribu de huit experts tente de survivre en utilisant les techniques des hommes de l’âge de pierre. Une aventure en trois volets, pour mieux comprendre le mode de vie de nos ancêtres.
L'aventure commence au fond d'une vallée fluviale façonnée par les siècles. Équipés de peaux de bête, de quelques vivres et d'un canoë, les huit experts en techniques primitives qui composent la tribu s'adonnent à la cueillette, à la pêche et créent des équipements à l’aide d’outils préhistoriques. Alors que Dan et Manse se lancent dans une expédition de chasse, l'inquiétude et la faim grandissent au sein du groupe. Face à l'insuffisance de nourriture, les membres de la tribu décident de partir. Ils doivent alors bâtir des embarcations pour descendre le courant, avant de s'enfoncer dans les montagnes en quête de gibier.
