Acara ini digelar untuk memperingati 80 tahun kemenangan Perang Rakyat China melawan Jepang dan Perang Dunia Anti-Fasis.
Prabowo tampak mengenakan jas abu-abu, peci hitam, dan kacamata hitam.
Dalam siaran televisi, Prabowo terlihat bersama Presiden China Xi Jinping, Presiden Rusia Vladimir Putin, dan Pemimpin Korea Utara Kim Jong Un.
Prabowo hadir setelah sebelumnya dikabarkan sempat batal berangkat.
Namun undangan langsung dari Presiden Xi Jinping membuatnya tetap menghadiri acara tersebut.
Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi mengatakan, kunjungan Prabowo tidak akan lama.
Prabowo akan langsung kembali ke Indonesia pada Rabu (3/9/2025) malam.
"Demi menjaga hubungan baik dengan Pemerintah Tiongkok, Bapak Presiden memutuskan untuk beliau berangkat malam ini," ujar Prasetyo dalam YouTube Setpres, Selasa malam.
Prasetyo mengatakan, Presiden memutuskan berangkat karena ada permohonan yang sangat besar dari Pemerintah China untuk hadir di parade militer mereka.
