【イントロダクション】

21世紀なかば、東京の裏社会は、エーテル（魔力）強化手術で《魔王》となったマフィアたちに支配されていた。
この魔王たちを倒す賞金稼ぎ──それがすなわち《勇者》である！
勇者は、《Ｅ３》(イースリー)という薬剤でエーテル能力を強化して魔王に対抗。
その殺傷行為は合法化され、勇者はまさに”人殺し”の職業となった。
そんな中、フリーランスの勇者《死神》ヤシロのもとに、自称「弟子」が押しかけてくる。
それは、勇者見習いの女子高生･城ヶ峰。
しぶしぶ彼女を受け入れたヤシロは、ロクでもない事件に巻き込まれていく！
