Albergues cubanos: cuando el Estado abandona y la tragedia es cuestión de tiempo

El influencer y activista cubanoamericano Alex Otaola expone una de las realidades más crudas y silenciadas del país: los albergues de la dictadura, donde familias enteras sobreviven durante décadas en condiciones infrahumanas, sin atención médica, sin seguimiento social y sin protección real.

Otaola analiza la denuncia recibida sobre una madre con graves problemas mentales, residente en un albergue del municipio Arroyo Naranjo, donde convive con seis niños, dos de ellos con discapacidades. La situación, lejos de ser atendida por las autoridades, ha sido completamente ignorada, poniendo en riesgo la vida de todos los menores y de los propios vecinos.

Desde su análisis, Otaola señala la responsabilidad directa del régimen, que mantiene barrios y viviendas abandonadas mientras confina a personas vulnerables en espacios donde no hay médicos, medicamentos ni trabajadores sociales. El abandono no es un error: es una política.

El mensaje es contundente: cuando el Estado renuncia a proteger a los más débiles, cada tragedia anunciada tiene culpables con nombre y apellido.
