Nach vier intensiven Jahren und insgesamt 84 Folgen verabschieden wir uns mit einer besonderen letzten Episode von „Kemferts Klima-Podcast“. Gemeinsam mit der renommierten Klimaökonomin Prof. Claudia Kemfert blicken wir zurück auf bewegte Zeiten: Energiekrise, Hitzerekorde, politische Umbrüche – und immer wieder die Frage: Was bedeutet das fürs Klima? Spannend ist vor allem Kemferts abschließende Bewertung der Klimapolitik der Ampel-Koalition. Ihr Fazit: Die Ampel habe viele wichtige Weichen gestellt – etwa beim Ausbau der Erneuerbaren und dem Deutschlandticket – aber vieles nicht zu Ende gebracht. Host Marcus Schödel und Klimaökonomin Prof. Claudia Kemfert schauen aber auch auf aktuelle Entwicklungen: Bundeswirtschaftsministerin Katherina Reiche will die Energiepolitik neu ausrichten. Kemfert kritisiert vor allem die geplante Abschaffung der festen Einspeisevergütung für Solaranlagen und die stärkere Rolle von Gaskraftwerken.
