Robert Halver (Baader Bank): „Die Rente ist zwar sicher, aber nicht die Höhe"
Die Debatte um ein höheres Renteneintrittsalter sorgt aktuell für Zündstoff in der Bundesregierung – und für Verunsicherung bei Bürgern und Anlegern. Bundeswirtschaftsministerin Katherina Reiche (CDU) fordert: Länger arbeiten sei unvermeidbar, um das Rentensystem zu stabilisieren. Doch was bedeutet das für den Arbeitsmarkt, für die Wirtschaft und für die Börse? „Wir haben ein Problem. Die Rentenversicherung ist seit Jahren nicht saniert worden. Der Staat zahlt immer mehr Geld ein, das fehlt für Investitionen. Man kann das Renteneintrittsalter natürlich verlängern oder die Prämien erhöhen. Das ist auch nicht attraktiv, weil dann die Arbeitskosten höher werden. Die Börse - die wirtschaftsorientiert ist - fände längere Arbeitszeiten grundsätzlich richtig", so Robert Halver. Der Experte von der Baader Bank weiter: „Die Jugend muss viel stärker auf private Vorsorge getrimmt werden, indem man ihnen das mit Steuererleichterungen schmackhaft macht. Die Rente ist zwar sicher, aber nicht in Form der Höhe. Es wird immer eine geben, aber sie reicht ja nicht aus."
