Kapolres Labusel, AKBP Aditya Sembiring mengatakan, dua tersangka pelaku pelecehan terhadap korban IN sudah ditangkap.
Nahas, pelecehan tersebut menjadi pemicu korban nekat mengakhiri hidup pada Jumat (22/8/2025) malam lalu.
IN diduga depresi karena hamil tiga bulan.
Pelaku diketahui KHM (25), kakak sepupu korban, dan N (20) kakak kandung korban.
AKBP Aditya menjelaskan, N yang merupakan kakak kandung korban adalah orang yang pertama melakukan pelecehan pada tahun 2021 lalu.
Sementara KHM pada Juni 2025 lalu, dua kali merudapaksa korban hingga mengakibatkan korban hamil.
"Berdasarkan hasil penyelidikan kepolisian, N merupakan orang pertama yang melakukan pelecehan terhadap korban, yakni sejak tahun 2021 lalu,"kata Kapolres dalam keterangan pers.
Kasus ini terungkap berawal dari kecurigaan Kapolres terkait adanya bocah kelas dua SMP yang mengakhiri hidup dengan gantung diri.
AKBP Aditya heran bocah tersebut melakukan hal itu sehingga memerintahkan Kapolsek menyelidiki keluarga korban.
Awalnya keluarga menolak, namun setelah diyakinkan, akhirnya ibu korban bersedia.
Setelah diselidiki dan melakukan autopsi pada jasad korban, kasus ini mengerucut pada nama para pelaku.
Akhirnya kedua pelaku diringkus polisi dari dua lokasi berbeda.
