Hal ini terjadi karena Prancis memblokir produsen senjata Israel yang dianggap melanggar perjanjian.
Dikutip dari Russia Today (RT), pejabat Prancis mendapati sejumlah perusahaan Israel nekat memamerkan senjata ofensif, termasuk yang digunakan untuk mengebom Gaza.
Mulai dari amunisi udara-ke-permukaan, tiruan pesawat nirawak buatan Elbit, hingga Bluebird Aero Systems.
Kementerian Pertahanan Israel mengecam pemblokiran tersebut dengan mengatakan bahwa Paris Air Show bersifat antisemit.
Israel juga menuduh Prancis berusaha menghalangi persaingan dari perusahaan-perusahaan Tel Aviv.
Sebagai pembelaan, Kementerian Luar Negeri Prancis mengatakan bahwa pihaknya punya sikap yang konsisten.
Paris tetap mendukung pertahanan Israel termasuk berkontribusi pada pengembangan Iron Dome.
Namun, Prancis tidak dapat menerima promosi senjata ofensif di negaranya.
Adapun Paris Air Show digelar di Le Bourget dari tanggal 16-22 Juni 2025.
Pameran ini diikuti oleh lebih dari 2.400 perusahaan yang berasal dari 48 negara.
