Hal itu termasuk dalam aksi demo menuntut Bupati Sudewo mundur dari jabatannya.
Meskipun sempat diwarnai insiden anarkis, situasi secara umum dikabarkan tetap terkendali.
Dikutip dari Kompas.com, pernyataan itu disampaikan oleh Kapolri Jenderal Listyo, Kamis (14/8).
“Yang jelas kemarin walaupun ada kegiatan anarkis, bisa terkendali. Masyarakat yang akan bertemu dengan DPRD diterima dengan baik dan terjadi suatu diskusi,” ujarnya.
Adapun masyarakat yang ingin bertemu DPRD diterima dengan baik dan berdiskusi secara langsung.
Sementara itu, Kapolri mengingatkan agar penyampaian pendapat dilakukan tertib lantaran seluruhnya telah difasilitasi oleh pihak berwenang.
Ia juga menyoroti adanya aksi pembakaran yang harus ditindaklanjuti oleh jajarannya.
“Pesan saya, tolong dilaksanakan dengan tertib. Karena Polri tidak akan menghalangi. Kita bahkan memfasilitasi, kita bahkan membantu melakukan mediasi,” katanya.
