In this video, I discuss how node runners are switching from Bitcoin Core to Bitcoin Knots, as a protest vote against rogue Bitcoin Core devs, as well as a way of better protecting the Bitcoin network from spam.
When you run Bitcoin Knots, it's usually best to run it as a "listening node" that accepts incoming connections from other nodes. Make sure that port 8333 in your router is open, in order to allow incoming connections.
