Ci siamo. È cominciato in questi giorni l’intervento di demolizione degli edifici di via Fogazzaro, al confine tra il territorio di Padova e quello di Albignasego, che componevano l’Amusement Park, lo storico parco divertimenti chiuso definitivamente nel 2008, a causa del crac della società che lo gestiva, e presto diventato ricovero di sbandati, senzatetto, spacciatori e tossicodipendenti. A tal punto che, a primavera 2021, l’allora vicesindaco Andrea Micalizzi era stato convinto dai residenti della zona a blindare l’intero complesso con una recinzione antiscavalco in lamiera alta due metri e mezzo. L’area in questione, come forse si ricorderà, è stato acquistata all’asta giudiziaria (per appena 337 mila euro) dall’imprenditore Luigi Savio, titolare della Mogliano Snc di Venezia. E il progetto di recupero prevede la realizzazione di quattro palazzine residenziali (una villetta bifamiliare a due piani e tre condomini con cinque piani ciascuno) per una volumetria complessiva di circa 17 mila metri cubi e la cessione al Comune di una superficie di oltre 16 mila metri quadri da destinare a verde pubblico.
