Non ci sono solo i grandi pescherecci, per lo più alle prese con il caro gasolio. Da Porto Garibaldi fino a Cattolica, lungo tutta la Riviera romagnola i pescatori delle piccole barche da pesca costiera. Qui l'impennata dei costi c'entra fino ad un certo punto. Questi pescatori lamentano una sostanziale scarsità del pesce pescato. Lumachine in particolare, canocchie, sogliole e seppie (che però restano abbastanza presenti) costituiscono la quasi totalità del loro pescato. Le lumachine però, sarebbero quasi scomparse. «Abbiamo provato a uscire anche in questi giorni – spiega Davide Vasini, presidente della Rete della Piccola Pesca Costiera dell’Emilia-Romagna – ma non c’è più nulla. Le barche sono ferme e davanti a noi vediamo un inverno che rischia di essere catastrofico. Saremo costretti a valutare il disarmo delle imbarcazioni per cercare almeno di limitare le spese, ma questo crea un problema anche rispetto ai nuovi strumenti di sostegno». Non è data sapere la genesi di questa scarsità. I pescatori spiegano di aver avuto a che fare anche con la mucillagine, ma Arpae è prudente ed evidenzia che il fenomeno nel 2026 è stato praticamente inesistente, dopo la più grave emergenza del 2024, tra gli anni recenti più falcidiati dal fenomeno. «Fatto sta che questa crisi si aggiunge a quella del gasolio che non sperimentiamo in queste settimane dato che a prescindere non possiamo uscire in mare perché torneremmo a reti vuote».
