Disponible jusqu'au 20/11/2026Le 20 novembre 1975, la mort de Franco met fin à une dictature sanglante qui laisse un pays traumatisé. Construite sur une loi d’amnistie, la démocratie espagnole n’a jamais jugé les crimes franquistes, et les victimes demandent encore justice et réparation. Deux mémoires irréconciliables s’affrontent, l’une fondée sur le devoir de vérité, l’autre sur la nostalgie d’un ordre révolu.
Cinquante ans après la mort du dictateur, la gauche au pouvoir et les partis de droite et d’extrême droite s’opposent sur la question des disparus et de l’héritage franquiste. Sur fond de clivage politique, l’Espagne voit émerger une jeunesse nostalgique de Franco qui, comme d’autres populistes en Europe, remet en cause les fondements de la démocratie. Une jeunesse séduite par le parti d'extrême droite Vox, qui connaît une ascension fulgurante en Espagne, en tête des intentions de vote chez les jeunes Espagnols.
