A distanza di due settimane dalla nostra denuncia, Giusy vive ancora con le sue due figlie in un locale di 5 mq, in condizione di enorme disagio. Nonostante i tanti appelli, nessuno si è fatto avanti. Anche se si continua ad affermare che non ci siano alloggi popolari disponibili, a Sesto San Giovanni, dove la donna vive, ci sono diversi appartamenti liberi sia del Comune che della Regione Lombardia. Come in uno stabile dove l'associazione Unione inquilini di Milano nord ne ha censiti ben 8, di cui due pronti per essere abitati. Secondo un rapporto del 2025, sono 140 gli alloggi che potrebbero essere destinati a chi ne ha bisogno. Come ad esempio in via Carlo Marx dove sono vuote 11 abitazioni o in via Cairoli dove se ne contano 8. In via Magenta, invece, ce ne sarebbero altre 5. Esemplare la situazione di via Leopardi dove a disposizione ce ne sono ben 13 di case comunali da poter assegnare.
