IRAN-KRIEG: Ex-Trump-Berater Bolton über Mullah-Regime! „So schwach wie seit 1979 nicht!“Der frühere Trump-Berater John Bolton äußert sich zum Krieg mit dem Iran. Im Gespräch erklärt der ehemalige Sicherheitsberater, dass militärische Aktionen allein keinen direkten Regimewechsel auslösen würden. Stattdessen könnten Angriffe auf militärische Fähigkeiten die Führung in Teheran destabilisieren und die Opposition stärken. Bolton betont, das iranische Regime sei so unpopulär wie seit der Machtübernahme 1979 nicht mehr. Trotz politischer Spannungen innerhalb der US-Politik glaubt er, dass die aktuelle Strategie gegen den Iran bislang funktioniere. Gleichzeitig warnt er davor, militärische Erfolge als selbstverständlich anzusehen.
