Mattarella in Puglia alla commemorazione delle vittime dell'incidente di Andria-Corato
(Agenzia Vista) Il Presidente Sergio Mattarella ha partecipato ad Andria alla cerimonia in ricordo delle vittime dell’incidente ferroviario sulla linea Andria-Corato, nel quale dieci anni fa, il 12 luglio 2016, persero la vita 23 persone e ne rimasero ferite molte altre. Al suo arrivo in Piazza dei Bersaglieri, Mattarella ha deposto una corona di fiori davanti alla lapide commemorativa. Alle 11.05, orario dello scontro dei due treni, è stato osservato un minuto di silenzio; poi 23 rintocchi di campana e la lettura dei nomi delle vittime. Durante la cerimonia sono intervenuti la sindaca di Andria, Giovanna Bruno, e il Presidente della Regione Puglia, Antonio De Caro. Al termine degli interventi istituzionali, il Capo dello Stato si è recato nel piazzale intitolato alle vittime dell’incidente, dove è stata installata una statua commemorativa.Quirinale
