IRAN: Gewaltsame Proteste im ganzen Land! Mindestens 27 Tote bei Demonstrationen gegen das Regime!Seit Beginn neuer landesweiter Proteste im Iran sind nach Angaben einer iranischen Menschenrechtsorganisation mindestens 27 Menschen durch Sicherheitskräfte getötet worden. In mehreren Städten, darunter auch in der Hauptstadt Teheran, setzten Einsatzkräfte Tränengas gegen Demonstrierende ein, die Parolen gegen den obersten religiösen Führer Ajatollah Ali Chamenei skandierten. Einige Protestierende forderten zudem die Rückkehr des im Exil lebenden Schahs Reza Pahlavi. Zuvor hatte die Polizei im Westen des Landes mit scharfer Munition auf Teilnehmer einer Protestkundgebung geschossen. Der Iran erlebt damit seit rund zehn Tagen die größten Proteste seit 2022. Auslöser sind vor allem die stark gestiegenen Lebenshaltungskosten und die anhaltend schlechte wirtschaftliche Lage.
