Der Iran-Krieg ist für die Ukraine schlecht, sagt Ex-Nato-General Erhard Bühler. Sie müsse mit weniger Waffenlieferungen aus den USA rechnen. Militärische Nachteile für Russland sieht Bühler nicht. Russland stelle Drohnen inzwischen selbst her und sei nicht mehr auf Lieferungen aus dem Iran angewiesen. Bühler erklärt aber, warum die Entwicklung für Moskau geopolitisch eine Gefahr ist.Eine große Frage ist auch, was mit der für die Weltwirtschaft wichtigen Straße von Hormus passiert. Kann der Iran sie wirklich sperren? Bühler hat da Zweifel. Die Amerikaner könnten die iranische Marine neutralisieren und stationäre Raketenbasen ausschalten. Ein paar Trümpfe hat der Iran laut Bühler aber noch in der Hand, die gefährlich seien. Außerdem kritisiert er den amerikanischen Verteidigungsminister Pete Hegseth, der den Nato-Verbündeten Jammerei vorgeworfen hatte. Hegseth vergesse, dass die USA auf Überflug- und Hafenrechte der befreundeten Staaten angewiesen seien.
