La Contraloría General de la República advirtió que la Planta de Tratamiento de Agua Potable Shilcayo, operada por la EPS Emapa San Martín S.A., funciona con infraestructura de más de 40 años de antigüedad y presenta falta de mantenimiento adecuado, lo que podría comprometer el abastecimiento de agua potable en la ciudad de Tarapoto.
