What if We Can't Detect Dark Matter?

This is the Minnesota entry for 50x50: Science Across America, a national series uncovering exceptional science in all 50 states. See more at http://5050science.com.

We have all heard of the mysterious dark matter that supposedly makes up most of our universe… But what do scientists suggest it could actually be? And why are they so sure it is there in the first place? This video takes a look at some of the popular theories surrounding dark matter.

Many thanks to Prof. Vuk Mandic and Dr. Luna Zagorac for their input into this video.
