İngiltere seçimleri ve göç tartışması: Türkler ne düşünüyor?
İngiltere'de 4 Temmuz'da erken seçim yapılacak.Seçim kampanyasında en çok tartışılan konulardan biri göç oldu ve ülkede seçim sonrası göçmenlere yönelik nasıl bir politika uygulanacağı merak ediliyor.
İngiltere'de 2010 yılından bu yana iktidarda olan Muhafazakar Parti, yasal göçe üst sınır getirmek ve ülkeye yasa dışı yollarla giren bazı sığınmacıları Doğu Afrika ülkesi Ruanda'ya göndermek istiyor.
Kamuoyu araştırmalarında açık farkla önde olan ana muhalefetteki İşçi Partisi de seçim bildirgesinde göçü sınırlamayı vadediyor, ancak hükümetin bu konuda başarısız olduğunu öne sürerek Ruanda planına karşı çıkıyor.
2016'daki Brexit kampanyasının önde gelen isimlerinden Reform UK partisinin lideri Nigel Farage ise İngiltere'de net göçü (ülkeye gelenlerle ülkede ayrılanlar arasındaki fark) sıfıra indirmek istiyor. Farage bunun yanı sıra İngiltere'nin Avrupa İnsan Hakları Sözleşmesi'nden çekilmesini savunuyor.
Aslında göç uzun süredir ülke gündeminin üst sıralarında yer alıyor. Brexit referandumu öncesi İngiltere'nin Avrupa Birliği'nden (AB) ayrılmasını isteyenlerin en önemli argümanlarından biri göçün kontrolüydü.
Ancak 2016 yılının sonunda 245 bin olan net göçün 2022'de rekor düzeye ulaşarak 745 bine yükselmesi ülkede pek çok kişi tarafından eleştiriliyor.
İngiltere'de her halükarda seçim sonrası daha sıkı bir göç politikası uygulanabilir.
Ülkedeki göçmenler ise tüm bu tartışmaları yakından izliyor.
