Zwangssterilisation: Kein Recht auf Kinder?

Eine gute Mutter - die wäre Natacha gerne geworden, erzählt sie. Doch schwanger zu werden, ist für die 39-jährige Belgierin schon lange nicht mehr auf natürlichem Weg möglich. Und zwar, weil andere das so entschieden haben. Mit Mitte zwanzig wurde Natacha zwangssterilisiert - weil sie eine geistige Behinderung hat. Mittlerweile sind Zwangssterilisationen bei Menschen mit Behinderungen in Belgien verboten, in zwölf EU-Ländern jedoch noch immer erlaubt. Die Journalistin Katrin Kleemann taucht in dieser 11KM Folge ein in Natachas Schicksal und hinterfragt, was Betroffene und brauchen - rechtlich und gesellschaftlich.
