ストーリー
目覚めると…頭がぼんやりしていて、記憶が……ない。ここはどこなのか、どうやってここまで来たのか、糸口を見つけようと自分に問いかけていると、突如スピーカーから流れる聞きなれない声が君を出口へと誘導する。自分が何者なのかすら曖昧で不安に押しつぶされそうになりながらも、脱出する唯一のチャンスは……声に耳を傾けるしかないようだ……
ゲームプレイ
『Bittersweet Birthday』は、遭遇するバトルごとに厳しい試練や、そのバトル独自の体験ができるアクションゲームだ。敵のパターンを見極め、自分の動きを組み立てて、ソウルライクなドッジ・ロールと弾丸地獄の騒乱を組み合わせた激しいバトルで敵をなぎ倒せ。
バトル外では、探索をして自分の過去や、色鮮やかな登場人物を取り巻く謎を明らかにしていく。サイドクエストをクリアし、隠されたアイテムを発見すると、記憶が解放され、それが君のバトルスタイルに影響を与える。吉と出るか凶と出るか？！集めた記憶は行く先を照らしてくれるのか、はたまたこれから出会うバトルがさらに厳しいものとなってしまうのか。
トラウマと壊れた記憶の狭間で、過去のピースを集めてバトルに備えよう……さあ、誕生日パーティーに参加しよう！
