La escasez de combustible en Cuba viene provocando cortes de luz durante días enteros y está llevando a todos los sectores del país al borde del colapso.
La Casa Blanca ha declarado que el hecho de que Estados Unidos no haya impedido la llegada del petrolero ruso no indica un “cambio formal en la política de sanciones” y aclaró que, de ahora en adelante, las decisiones sobre el ingreso de cargamentos se tomarán caso por caso.
“El presidente Trump primero dijo que iba a arrasar con Cuba y después dijo: 'vamos a permitir este barco porque es por humanidad'. Y yo me quedo pensando: ¿cuál es la humanidad?”, afirma Liz Oliva Fernández, periodista cubana del medio Belly of the Beast.
