JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Belum genap sepuluh bulan, Wakil Menteri Ketenagakerjaan, Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan, jadi tersangka KPK.
Komisi antirasuah mengungkap, Noel diduga terlibat tindak pidana pemerasan terhadap sejumlah perusahaan terkait pengurusan sertifikasi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3).
Tapi, Noel membantah kasus yang menjeratnya adalah tindak pemerasan. Ia pun langsung meminta amnesti atau pengampunan kepada Presiden Prabowo Subianto.
Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) menilai, jika amnesti Noel dikabulkan, itu akan bertentangan dengan komitmen pemberantasan korupsi Presiden Prabowo.
ICW yakin, amnesti berisiko menyuburkan korupsi karena dianggap sebagai jalan keluar bagi koruptor.
Kini, Presiden Prabowo telah memecat Noel dari jabatan Wamenaker.
Ketua KPK, Setyo Budiyanto, mengungkap Noel diduga menerima uang Rp3 miliar dari dugaan pemerasan pengurusan sertifikasi K3.
Modus para tersangka diduga menerapkan tarif sertifikasi K3 untuk buruh dari Rp275 ribu menjadi Rp6 juta.
KPK menetapkan 11 tersangka dari dugaan korupsi pemerasan pengurusan sertifikasi K3 di lingkungan Kemenaker. Dugaan pemerasan ini telah berjalan sejak 2019.
Amnesti memang mutlak hak prerogatif presiden. Tapi rakyat berharap presiden tidak menggunakan kekuasaannya bertentangan dengan apa yang selama ini ia gaungkan ke seluruh penjuru tanah air, yaitu memberantas korupsi sampai ke akarnya.
