Traveling through Thailand right now is an incredible experience, but the heat out here in Pattaya is absolutely scorching. When you're navigating the busy streets and soaking in the vibrant culture, staying cool becomes a full-time job. Exploring Southeast Asia means adapting to the tropical climate, and sometimes that requires making a few drastic grooming changes to survive the intense humidity.
During our explorations around town, we found ourselves wandering down Soi New Plaza and decided to step into Linda Beauty And Nails. I had been trying to talk my travel buddy into getting a full-body wax to beat the heat, but he was incredibly nervous and downright scared of the idea.
Traveling is all about stepping outside of your comfort zone! I reminded him that getting rid of that winter coat was essential, especially if he wants to be smooth and ready just in case he meets his Juliet on this trip.
After a bit of friendly negotiation, I finally convinced him to take the plunge. We agreed that he would at least get his incredibly hairy back waxed, take care of the armpits, and maybe even a little more. When you are constantly on the move in a climate like this, having a smooth back makes a world of difference for your comfort. He nervously sat down, not quite knowing what to expect from a local Thai beauty shop, but ready to brave the pain for the sake of a better travel experience.
To make sure the job was done swiftly and perfectly, I managed to gather a dedicated crew of six amazing ladies from the shop. It was absolutely hilarious watching them all gather around and work together in perfect harmony to skin the bear! Ha ha! They were total professionals, tackling the massive job with smiles and laughs, turning what could have been a painful ordeal into a truly unforgettable local travel memory.
Despite being terrified at the start of the procedure, he took it like an absolute champ and was actually so glad he went through with it. He walked out onto the bustling Pattaya streets feeling lighter, cooler, and like a brand-new man ready to take on the rest of our Thai adventure.

I understand people love the relaxing ASMR barber, shave & haircut relaxation in my videos. This contains some a painful waxing experience, and a full back hair removal, which was a ton of fun (for me). ha ha.
