Mahkamah Konstitusi mendiskualifikasi calon Wakil Bupati Pasaman nomor urut 1, Anggit Kurniawan Nasution karena dinilai tidak jujur soal identitasnya sebagai mantan terpidana.Dalam pertimbangannya, MK menilai Anggit seharusnya terbuka dengan statusnya sebagai mantan terpidana. Ketidakjujuran tersebut terlihat dari Anggit yang membiarkan surat keterangan tidak pernah dipidana dikeluarkan Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan, serta upaya Anggit untuk menyembunyikan identitasnya dengan tidak mengoreksi surat catatan tidak pernah melakukan perbuatan kriminal yang dikeluarkan kepolisian.
MK meminta KPU untuk melakukan pemungutan suara ulang dengan batas waktu 60 hari sejak putusan diucapkan tanpa mengikutsertakan Anggit sebagai calon wakil bupati, dan meminta KPU melakukan satu kali debat yang diikuti peserta pemilihan Bupati Pasaman.
MK menyerahkan kepada partai politik dan gabungan partai politik untuk menentukan pengganti Anggit.
