È aperto tra le colline patrimonio Unesco di Valdobbiadene, nel Trevigiano la «Little Tony Collection», museo permanente unico al mondo, che sarà inaugurato il 1 marzo e raccoglie auto storiche, abiti di scena, dischi, jukebox, fotografie e oggetti personali. Qui non si celebra solo il cantante di «Cuore matto», ma anche l’uomo generoso e l’amicizia che lo legava a Valerio. «L’ho conosciuto nel 1978, al campo sportivo di Valdobbiadene. Da lì è nata una grande amicizia. Era un rapporto puro», racconta Valerio. Ricorda concerti, passioni comuni e momenti di vita condivisi: «Eravamo due sognatori. Ci univano generosità, fede, rock e belle macchine. Tony faceva centinaia di concerti di beneficenza, anche per bambini o comunità in difficoltà. Era nel suo stile, e io ero sempre al suo fianco. Durante il Festival andavamo in giro per Sanremo con la nostra Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz del ’59. La gente si spostava dalle Ferrari per fotografare noi», ricorda Roberto Valerio. Era il 2003 e Little Tony tornava in gara con Bobby Solo. Ma fuori dall’Ariston, tra il lungomare e le vie del centro, a catturare gli sguardi era anche quell’auto americana dalle linee inconfondibili, simbolo dello stile e della passione dell’artista per i motori. «Era diventata un’attrazione», aggiunge Valerio, «e non solo per i fan: i colleghi erano entusiasti.
