As an Industrial Design Engineering master student, he excels in problem-solving and making ideas into reality. He also enjoys helping others to bring their ideas to life, which he has done both by teaching design courses about Responsible Future Design at the IDE MSc program, as well as with assisting with physical prototyping, which he still loves to do every week as part of the Techteam at DesignLab.
Eager to embrace new technologies for the field of design, Twan has expanded his design research to include empowering people with Al tools. In his quest, he has discovered ways to exploit biases in Al tools like Chatgpt, creating custom tools that today already have the potential to improve everyday life.
