Ever wish you could play microcassette tapes in a normal cassette player? You can with the Sony MR-40(A) Microcassette Adaptor from 1977... but only in some types of cassette players. It was also sold by Dictaphone and Lanier.A much more compact adapter, which could fit the microcassette entirely within the shell of a normal cassette, was patented by Craig Staub in the early 1990s, but I don't think it was ever manufactured: https://patents.google.com/patent/US5280400
