Hoje eu mostro um projeto de hardware hacking usando um M5Stack Fire + um módulo leitor de RFID UHF (na faixa de 900 MHz para BR/EUA) para detectar e inspecionar tags do dia a dia — incluindo aquelas etiquetas “grossas” de roupa que quase todo mundo arranca e joga fora.
Eu desenvolvi o firmware em MicroPython e fui ajustando o código com ajuda de LLM (“vibe coding + programação assistida”) até chegar numa interface onde eu consigo dar scan, navegar entre tags detectadas e testar senhas/chaves por bloco (quando aplicável) para ver o que está aberto e o que está protegido.
No teste prático, dá pra encontrar várias tags próximas (até um monte de etiqueta junta gera cenário de colisão), aproximar de objetos pela casa e observar como EPC/TID/USER aparecem (ou ficam vazios) dependendo do tipo de tag e configuração.
Também faço um experimento no carro com uma tag menor (tipo as usadas em serviços de passagem/cobrança) e mostro o resultado real do que o leitor consegue (e o que ele não consegue) nesse caso.
Uma parte importante: além do “hype” de leitura a distância, isso abre discussões sérias de segurança e privacidade — inclusive a ideia de uso para tracking/OSINT quando alguém monta infraestrutura para observar passagem de tags por um local.
