Autofahrern drohen drastische Strafen! 500 Euro Bußgeld!Handy am Steuer soll künftig deutlich teurer werden: Der Deutsche Verkehrssicherheitsrat fordert, das Bußgeld von 100 auf mindestens 500 Euro zu erhöhen. Gleichzeitig sollen sogenannte Handyblitzer bundesweit gegen die gefährliche Ablenkung am Steuer eingesetzt werden. Die Kameras erkennen, wenn Autofahrer während der Fahrt ihr Smartphone in der Hand halten. Der Handlungsbedarf ist groß: 2025 wurden laut Beitrag mehr als 1100 Unfälle mit Personenschaden registriert, bei denen elektronische Geräte als Ursache erfasst wurden. 15 Menschen starben. Einer Studie zufolge kann Telefonieren am Steuer sogar gefährlicher sein als Fahren mit 0,8 Promille.
