Molte le dichiarazioni di Trump che hanno fatto scalpore negli ultimi giorni.
L’ultima in ordine di tempo è il post del presidente sul suo social network Truth in cui mostra una cartina dello stretto di Hormuz con la didascalia di "territorio statunitense".
Poco prima Trump aveva dato ordine di ridurre le esercitazioni militari congiunte con la Corea del Sud perché non l’ha aiutato nella guerra con l’Iran. Notizia di oggi, le manovre militari terminano venerdì, una settimana prima del previsto. Trump aveva scritto anche che le esercitazioni sono un segnale negativo al leader nordcoreano Kim Jong-un, che il presidente americano vorrebbe incontrare di nuovo entro la fine di quest’anno, forse già a novembre al vertice Apec che si terrà in Cina.
Trump ha anche detto di apprezzare il cosiddetto accordo della Mecca, per uno stretto rapporto militare tra Arabia Saudita, Turchia e Pakistan, ribattezzata la Nato islamica.
Tutte dichiarazioni che hanno scatenato la reazione dei suoi avversari. La maggior parte sostiene che il presidente americano tratta meglio i presunti avversari (Kim, Putin e Xi Jinping) che gli alleati come la Corea del Sud o la Nato.
